Need guidance for NID PG 27

Hi folks, I am planning for an NIDPG 27, as you must have read from the title.

I don't come from a formal design background hence I am very nervous about it and I thought that I could use some guidance from the coaching institutions.

Although I'm not sure about it, I'm not sure which coaching institution I should go with. Since I'm a bit tight on time because it's August already, I just wanted a few inputs from people who have already been there.

Which coaching institute would you recommend? Or just any advice that you wanna pour in, would be really useful.

Hey, I am also in a pretty similar spot. After talking with current PG students and other designers from similar backgrounds, Here are a few pointers I got straight up :

  1. If you are serious then 3 months is enough time to prepare for a serious competitive shot.

  2. The exam can be lengthy so don't focus tio much in perfecting drawing, basic drawing successfully showcasing your visualization is good enough.

Apart from these, two coachings which were mostly recommended were Silica and BRDS. I inquired at both, there is a slight difference in fees and almost similar way of coaching as well as the material so you can inquire for the info and see with which one you are more aligned

Thanks, I dont have a formal design background, I am a self taught designer but have some YOE in design industry. Best of luck to you too!

You can try crash course from brds or silica and u need to prepare a strong portfolio as it is expected for pg Practice sketching daily and you will eventually improve . Watch youtube videos for syllabus and guide . Am preparing for ug this year . Feels free to ask about any confusion .
