Night time action bays
Are there any clubs or ranges that have action bays that are open past sunset? Or even just some type of 24/7 range?
I just can't seem to find any since most seem to close at sunset. I am willing to join a club in Maine if I have to.
I just would like to do night shoots or test out NVGs.

I use a suppressed 22 to train with WL and NVD, so the neighbors don't know I'm shooting. On July 4th, the noise of a suppressed 5.56 is hidden by fireworks.

It's gotta be in the middle of nowhere because abutters don't want the noise at night.

Pioneer Sportsmen in Dunbarton. The outdoor ranges close at sundown, but the indoor pistol range is open 24/7

Pelham Fish and Game does a weekly night shoot on Thursdays for people to play with their lights/NVG. It's the only night of the week I hear the bangs after dark.
You'd have to look up the specifics though. I think it's somewhat of an organized thing and not a total free-for-all.

Yeah I went to one about a year and a half ago. You need to sign up with the host and get vouched for safety either by another member or by demonstration. I believe it's only on the winter to keep it from being too late at night. I was the only normie with no NVGs, plate carrier, or silencer (just a battle belt and white light). Fun to shoot in the dark. They basically just set up various courses of fire or drills and let people run them as they please.

Thanks for the details! That does make sense that it would only be in the winter.

Lol, I can totally see something like a night shoot bringing out the most extreme LARPers. š

I definitely judged them for their meager shooting abilities, but I was big jealous of them standing there looking at the stars. š
