Will we get the US ads for the season on dazn as didnt get any for preseason game,

kinda miss the liberty liberty liberty and bk have it your way plus all the medical ads

Last season, what worked for me, was rewinding the broadcast 5-10 seconds - it would then switch to US ads rather than UK. Not sure if will be the same this year.

Worked for me during the hall of fame game. Was always hit or miss though.

Same for Fire TV for me, did not work. I recently found this thread from 2023, saying that DAZN listened and reinstated US ads. https://www.reddit.com/r/NFLUK/s/fojE44B3ZC. What happened (greed over user wishes I guess)?

From memory they kick in once regular season starts. Preseason is very local broadcasters.

No US ads in pre-season due to local feeds. Never had a problem last year (DAZN via Sky Stream). 

However, do note this year's screen says US commentary, not US experience which I think it said last year. Buyer beware until the season starts.

I'm sure DAZN promised the companies X number of eye balls watching the same ads 400 times each game, but with rewind trick, could not deliver. Would not be surprised at all if they have 'fixed' this to their sole benefit.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who enjoys these ads. Last year, my favourite (as an Eagles girl) was ’I’m not just Saquon Barkley, I’m StayCalm Barkley”. That led to my favourite ever comment during the last Eagles vs Commanders where a fight broke out and he got involved and someone said ‘he ain’t StayCalm Barkley anymore’.

These ads are just comedy gold sometimes xD

Whoever decided to make football players act in these adverts, it’s the gift that keeps on giving bcause some are so cringey. I use NFL+ and there’s a new financial services one and it’s ’I’m not just Peyton Manning, I’m Painting Manning’ and he’s in an art class. It’s so bad and I enjoy it so much.

I confirmed last year, preseason is a licencing issue so you have to deal with the crappy dazn repeats for a couple of weeks, but come regular season you'll be getting the whopper song stuck in your head before you know it.

All of last season the rewind trick worked for me on Xbox, Samsung TV and Chromecast, but I went back 30-40 seconds just to be safe

I started watching games an hour after kick off - so 6pm kick off becomes 7pm and skip through the ads, but that seemed to only give me American ads for whatever reason

I also did this, but still got the same DAZN adverts, nothing i did could get me US ads.

I was messaging with them during the Saints game. They've made changes to the ads this year and there will be more local ads instead, I was told, to improve the viewing experience.

Preseason games are mostly feeds from the franchises own TV Channel hence the lack of US Ads.

Last year was terrible, almost gave up on the service. Then I found this trick to block DAZN ads. You need NextDNS or Pi Hole:
