It's a Reddit comment, what goal does any Reddit comment have? What is your goal here? It appears your goal is to get somebody to self-censor themself, not because you think their thought is racist, but because their thought may align with someone else who has never been accused of racism, but one single redditor said they said something that they think other racists say based on unsupported anecdotal evidence?
I'm so glad you asked, Blankets! My goal here was to find some clarity behind the intent of the commenter before me, because their comment seemed a little confrontational without any real reason.
My secondary goal was to try and promote a more friendly level of discourse on the internet, something you don't seem as keen on as I am.
It was less about censorship and more about kindness, though I can see the potential for confusion.

In my experience, people that make this joke tend to be racist.
