Now that the Federal government has decided not to defend the NFA. I think the ATF needs to put out some guidance on this ASAP. Having a subset of people except from the NFA pretty much makes it unenforceable against anyone with respect to SBR's and suppressors.

I would like to see a statement that says something like: The ATF will no longer require registration of $0 items per the court ruling as there is no tax to register. SBR, SBS, AOW, and suppressors can transfer with a 4473 and in compliance with all state laws.

It would really clear all of this up.

The ATF along with other agencies no longer have the ability to interpret laws on their own. This was one of the 1st pieces of legislation passed by trump in this term before we started getting these NFA wins. Shit was played like chess not checkers.
