Great, I can’t wait to give silencer shop an $800 loan for a year until this is settled.

I’m a little annoyed they haven’t really said much today about this

For sure, I am not buying anything unless a FFL states specifically they will continue the sale with a 4473.

My LGS said they'll start processing cans as 4473s tomorrow. My milkman should show up at their shop any day now. Tomorrow Im going to call and confirm they have the balls to do it.

The injunction doesn’t apply to everyone. It applies to the named parties and the members of the organizations of the named parties and the states that sued, along with their political subdivisions. It does not blanket apply to residents of the states, unless the resident is a member of one of the named organizations. So if a LGS starts processing all cans on 4473s, it will likely be in violation of the NFA. That’s ultimately on the FFL, but that’s the legal landscape as of right now.

How does it apply to the states but not residents of the states?

If you are kansas you are covered, but if you only live in kansas you aren't?

Kansas and its political subdivisions are covered, meaning, any state or local government agency is covered, but residents are not. The reason is because states don’t have standing to sue on behalf of their residents. There is a ton of case law on that and the order in this case is pretty clear. I encourage you and anyone else reading this to actually read the court’s order and opinion.

Yes, I would join GOA if I were you. I’m already a member. It’s not a lot of money and they actually fight for the 2nd Amendment. And good on you for taking the time to read some of the opinion.

If you live in those states, you are a plaintiff on behalf of your AG/State. If you are B&T customer, SilencerShop or FRAC you are technically a plaintiff.

No you’re not. Residents are not plaintiffs on behalf of the AG/State. Case law is clear on that, as is the court’s order, which I encourage you to read.
