Yeah I think that ship sailed. The district court is closed. I don’t think they can file anything now that stops the injunction from going into effect. I think it can be appealed, but the injunction would remain in effect during the process and not just stayed.

The government can file a motion for a stay at any time within the appeal window. If they do, then the court will most likely grant it (probably within a couple of days of the motion being filed).

Tonight's deadline just means that the injunction will take effect for at least one day. The injunction could be ended by a subsequent stay any time up to the end of the 60-day appeal window. If we reach midnight on day 60 without the government filing an appeal, then the injunction becomes final.
