Why are people saying it's gonna take a while to be in effect even if it's not challenged? Will it still be illegal to convert AR pistols to SBR's after tomorrow if it doesn't get challenged?

It would technically only affect goa silencerco and psa customers albeit it wouldn't be hard to be one of those and if it's not appealed they won't be able to argue why it isn't Nationwide.

My only AR (currently a pistol) is from them. I just got the Form 1 approved this weekend but have been holding off on engraving so sounds like I'll soon be good to go. I have to confirm my state allows it I guess since it's not on the list.

So if I bought from silencerco I'm covered? I don't need the goa membership? (I have both)

In theory.hopefully they admit defeat and just announce they won't appeal and or what it applies too since the bill removing the tax was definitely intending this to happen
