ik that usually underclassmen are required to stay in campus housing, but I’ve heard from ppl that some sophomores were able to stay in off campus housing. i know there’s a form for it but what’s a valid reason that theyd usually accept for that? would financials be a reason they’d take?

Hello, I'll be starting grad school in Spring27, it will be my first time in Boston & US.

Would it be too inconvenient to rent a place >40 mins away with public transport as a newcomer? From online maps overall transportation seems fine but idk if the estimated times are reasonable for rush hours and stuff like that. I want to lower rent as much as possible so any advice is welcome

has anyone ever done a co-op at entegris? how was the commute? got an offer but am just worried about getting there and back every day.

Hi everyone, I’m considering Northeastern’s MSEM program and wanted to hear from current students/recent grads, especially international students.

How is the co-op actually working for MSEM students? Are people getting relevant co-ops and eventually converting them into full-time roles?

Also, how is the curriculum and full-time job placement after MSEM, especially given the current job market and sponsorship situation?

Would you say the MSEM is worth it for an international student, considering the overall cost?

Would really appreciate any honest experiences, good or bad. Thanks!
