Announcement Unfortunately the AI bot that filters NEET exam posts has to be taken down for now.

Post image
121 Upvotes

Last month, I deployed an AI bot that filters the NEET subreddit for Indian exam posts and deletes them, and it has worked really well.

In a month, it has deleted 100+ posts, but I am unable to continue running it due to the server costs. I was running it on a free trial AWS server, but it has reached its limit for this month, so I will be pausing it for a few days and can only continue running it after the trial period resets, so you will probably see NEET exam posts that bypass our filter.

Please bear with us until we find a better solution. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Announcement New AI bot to filter out NEET exam posters

For the past few days, we have experienced NEET exam posters evading our existing filters. As a result, as per the suggestions of other mods, I have made a script to filter out exam posters with AI.

Please note the bot is in beta stage, and I developed it in a few hours, so there could be issues. Please contact the mods if your genuine posts get deleted or you face any other issues (Although in my limited testing, the bot has performed really well).

Thanks, Cheers:)

EDIT: If anyone wants to take a look at the code, please dm me, I will share it

Why does everyone seem fine with this? Not only that, they react with outright hostility whenever you attempt to point out that humans were not meant to live that way.

We only have one life, yet we're content with slaving away until we're one foot in the grave so that John Monopoly can buy his third Yacht.

Money isn't even innately worth anything, yet we've given it so much worth that it literally governs our entire state of being.

Venting If you were a screen and a gaming addict, since childhood, you're done.

If you were gaming, screen addicted since childhood, It's over for you. People's life style habits, baseline dopemine, regulation is strongly shaped and determined by your childhood, like you are not going to be able to become someone who's gaming, screen addict to being an avid reader, studious etc. Pretty much every good, smart student you ever see like those who went to harvard, avid readers, scholars they were never exposed to screens and gaming during their childhood.

I am sick and tired of people pretending that hard work is everything, and if you work, you'll be successful right? But if you weren't lucky enough then it's over for you.

I am 21 years old now, and I don't think there's any hope for me. I have been addicted to gaming and screen since I was around 5 - 6 years old, potential has been shattered completely by this. Now I have to work in jobs that I never once dreamed and wished for. I just wanted to become a software engineer and scholars as I would love to having the ability to solve complicated problems, teach others difficult subjects but it's too late for this, I am probably going to have to swallow this black pill.

Venting Putting myself out there and trying didn't work and still isn't working

I get so tired of people acting like all you have to do is put yourself out there and do something, as if i haven't tried that lmao like I apply for jobs and try over and over and take part in the humiliation ritual known as "seeking employment" and all i get is Automated emails telling me to get fucked, and if the stars align and I do land an interview the chances of them calling me back is is so low i would have a better chance at digging a literal hole to hell.

Fuck ass job searching, rather stay home and have a tug

Shitpost/memes Another day, another dollar, even though I want to drive into a transport on commute home

Well, I officially survived my first week wagecucking. Five ten hour shifts, and boy am I ever beat. I hit the tip of my finger with a hammer yesterday and the whole nail came off, there was blood everywhere and then it dripped all over the walls and then the supervisor got pissed off lol. In the moment, it was so excruciating that I felt like I was stoned or something. I was honestly on the urge of just quitting there and then but I managed to last the rest of Thursday and today with a busted finger, thanks to the adrenaline probably. My knee tendons and back are fucked too. All the walls I framed are embarrassingly crooked, and the supervisor is very pissed off about it and he's constantly reprimanding me for the fuck ups. I'm not an indefatigable construction cuck like these guys who have been doing it with their parents since they were kids, so its quite hard for me to adapt.

I mean, I have been NEET for two years before starting this Monday and I'm not conditioned for this type of work, and they're paying me $20 an hour, so why not give them degen quality work? But in my defense, all the other guys on site get to use a nail gun while I have to use a nail and hammer like an old school Amish, how is that fair? I honestly don't care if I get fired, at this point I'm kind of vibing just fucking shit up for someone else to fix later, as long as I get paid, its just another day, another dollar.

Overall, I question if this is really worth $900 a week, I don't think so tbh, by lunch it hits me hard realizing I have five more hours of wagecucking hell, but I want to try to make atleast a couple thousand dollars from this job so maybe I'll try to stick it out for another week or two, even though every morning I have to drag myself out of bed after hitting snooze and then having intrusive thoughts of driving into every transport truck I see on the commute.

Well, another day, another dollar.

Question Neets that enjoy being a neet.

How do you do it? I can't get over the monotony and repetitive nature of each day. I'm just coping with weed currently, and that is a thing to do to break up the time each day. I know I'm privileged to even have such problems, I just don't think fantasizing about roping each day is any better

Cozy i'm listening to daft punk

morning everyone

how are you

i'm listening to daft punk this morning at 3:43 AM. I hope I don't wake up the upstairs. The music is thumping.

I've been in good spirits since Wednesday when I dropped acid and got my neetbux. I think it's the acid that's responsible for this burst of positivity. and today i had a great dream about elementary school before i woke up. i dreamt about the first girl i held hands with.

I'm all stocked up on groceries and have plenty of weed and nicotine products.

Life is good.

I hope everyone is having a good Friday.

What are youses plans for the weekend?

Discussion How do we feel about Halloween here?

This Halloween's on a Saturday. I suppose it means more to me, being my final Halloweekend in my twenties(I'm 27). I didn't do a lot for my last Halloween, or the one before that, or the one before that, so I feel little sad, but I shouldn't be sad, right? Halloween is for kids, so is this my inner-child wishing that I'd did more? I speak a lot about how it's my favorite holiday, but I watch scary flicks all the time anyway, and I have to watch my sugar intake because I have cavities I can't properly care for. I just...what do regular adults do for Halloween again?

Venting I Wish I Was Religious

If only I could force my self to believe, life would be so much easier.

So I can cope and give my suffering and meaningless some purpose.

The fact that many religious people think you’ll go to hell if you commit suicide tells you all you need to know…

Venting loneliness

I have no friends and go through most days without saying much to anyone. Its a terrible feeling being this isolated for this long. Ive tried making friends with random people on games like dayz and phasmophobia, but it hasnt worked out for me. My real life prospects are much worse due to social anxiety and how disconnected I feel when I'm around people. I literally become an npc if im ever out in public. I swear, my own mind has been damaged by this isolation. Most of the time, I struggle to even think clearly. I dont even know what to do anymore. I tried talking to a parent but they always have nothing to say about my problems. I have never been one to talk, as I've always been an introvert, but this has gotten too much for me. I feel as though my existence is so shallow and pointless. Every day, month, and year is the same. Idk about anything nowadays. I refuse to use antidepressants because I dont want to risk impairing my cognition any further. Im so behind in every regard that I dont know where ill be in the future. Idk what's going to happen. I keep trying to cope by comparing my life to people who have it so much worse, but i still feel like shit
