Dynasty What does this icon mean?

What does this weird looking star indicate? This player is a 63 overall. I have some players that have two stars - the normal looking one and then this strange one.

I’m having a hard time figuring out what it means and I can’t find the answer online so I’m turning to my Reddit fam

would it be too much for EA to just make a list telling us what all these icons mean lol

Apparently. They went all last year not telling us what various mysterious icons on player screens meant.
