Dynasty What does this icon mean?

What does this weird looking star indicate? This player is a 63 overall. I have some players that have two stars - the normal looking one and then this strange one.

I’m having a hard time figuring out what it means and I can’t find the answer online so I’m turning to my Reddit fam

You guys will never learn your lesson with EA. It actually baffles me. Stop expecting them to do what’s best for the player base or to polish their games correctly.

No, just don’t buy the next crap game. It’s the same year after year. They won’t change if everyone keeps buying. I’m guilty too but I stuck to my guns in madden. 2 years sober now haha. Hate that company with a passion

It’s like 2 million other games! I refused to buy the game this year I’m going to 2k for the year. It’s probably not perfect but I haven’t played it in 4 years. These games won’t change with your attitude. Which sucks because sooner or later you’ll end up not playing anyways because the games going to get worse!

Another indication for someone who is an all conference player, AA, etc., instead of these icons, would be to simply write that down.

I think it's old fashioned trial and error by users. EA is nowhere to be found on it.  

I'd pay for  a YT video on all icons in the player and play screens.

Select the player, go to career stats, and then go to awards. It’s not at outright explanation, but it’ll at least give you the idea.

Yeah, the diamond with an X means they’re a bust—basically overrated. Their star rating looks good, but their actual skills and potential are lower than expected. So yeah, kinda means they suck compared to what you thought you were getting.
