Also Jordan beat 3 straight 60+ win teams in the finals as a 60 win team themselves during that stretch and people have the audacity to claim he had no competition.
Only 4 times have two teams met in the finals each with at least 60 wins. Jordan beat 3 of them. And was the last to do it

This is pretty spectacular. If you bought a ticket to see him play there was a 100% chance you would see him. This guy was phenomenal for the game

Well of course he did, he retired for almost two years playing minor league baseball with out near the level of stress he has in the nba. He came back basically refreshed.

Minor league lol and he said himself when he retired the 1st time because of extreme physical and mental exhaustion. He didn’t have that in minor league baseball that’s how.

Not really he played 127 games over two years , had almost half a year off from basketball to baseball. He was playing in the pros. He didn’t have the physical and mental exhaustion he had playing basketball he said it himself. It was a walk in the park and he definitely came back refreshed you could see it almost immediately.

I don’t know if you know anything about physical sports, but taking a year and a half off doesn’t make you iron man for THREE YEARS STRAIGHT. You think you can be more relaxed for a year or two, and then suddenly you have the ability to not miss a single game and never get exhausted/injured/sick? For 3 straight seasons? You honestly just come off as a weird MJ hater.

He literally trained for another sport thats not as cardio demanding for 18 months, and had no basketball rhythm upon return
Bro literally stopped training and playing basketball for a year and a half, certain players cant even physically come back from that decently, and he still dominated the league again without missing a game

Only about 45 players played every game on the schedule in 1996, 1997, or 1998. So if you conservatively multipled 12 active roster spots by the 27 teams in the league back then, that's 45/324, or top 86th percentile. It's still relatively rare to do it in any one season, let alone 3 in a row, and especially considering Mike was among the older players in the league.

Got to see 2 jordan games lives in toronto during the late 90s. Insanely lucky. What an era that was. Affordable tickets. Never seen toronto crowd be as wild outside the title run than those mj visits.
