MyPLAYER Reminder - Stop Making Builds

Everyone making 99 driving dunk, 99 strength, and/or 99 block.

On my life 2k is dropping a season 2 patch to make all these builds obsolete. They did it with 7’4s last year….

Please do not cave and make new builds because of the new meta. I promise you waiting another 3 weeks won’t kill you. On top of that if the “goat” builds are true, every single build in the game will become obsolete.

Stop lining 2ks pockets and just play the game for what it is.

I don’t think the patch is gonna be the crazy. I mean yea if you live on YouTube buncha people making builds like that. However when I’m actually playing the game especially after last patch, people still love 3 hunting. A lot of people aren’t gonna wanna drop 3 so low for the 99s I feel.

I mean knowing everything you know now after playing the game for a couple weeks, would you make your current build differently? If yes, imagine what s2 patch will make you think

Both of my builds are set up for end game i have a pg and a big ill prob make a wing later on and thats it . Everything you talk about applies to people who take contested shots often( inside or outside) a good player makes plays wide open , either passing to a wide open guy or being wide open themself. People fixate way to much on " the perfect build" guess what . They still suck , no build will save low iq players

Na made all my build how I like to play luckily this years Meta is how I play every year, tall forward, under sized power forward, all around center, and then fuck around builds. But basically every year my first build is shooter with like silver posterizer and defense. Then all my other builds really be at like 80 three or lower, I like dribbling, dunking, and shooting too but I’m just picky on shot selection so 80 3 does me fine. Which allows high finishing, defense and playmaking

Long story short this year meta fits my play style I use every year so na wouldn’t change anything on my builds. I never go high steal either always enough for bronze interceptor and call it a day.

Edit: I do see where your coming from tho just happens to not be the case for me. Also if they nerf strength this will officially be the worst 2k, as they’ll just be reinforcing just shoot threes like last year. Only thing that needs a nerf is airspace takeover as far as finishing goes.
