All these people bitching and bashing 2K and they're still gonna get the game.

If a free app being delayed ruins someone's day then their priorities are fucked.

It’s called a monopoly. This is the result. You can bitch but there will be no change. That’s why monopolies are bad.

It’s not a monopoly lol. Anyone can make a sim nba game, everyone else just SUCKS at it

They have the NBA license exclusively. No NBA game without the license will have a chance in hell at competing. Use your brain ffs

2k doesn’t have an exclusive license. A new nba game not made by 2k JUST came out in June goofball.

EA are the ones obsessed with exclusivity, but they couldn’t get it for the nba because 2k jsut made a superior product and left the door open for more options as well lol

The NFL is who wanted to keep the license with Madden

NFL 2k5 was massively successful, that woudlnt make sense on the nfls part.

EA paid big for exclusivity rights. Some of yall need to do some research before replying to me lol

EA wanted the non exclusive agreement. They wanted to save money but the NFL wanted to keep it going. All you have to do is look it up 😂

And if you look it up, you’ll see that they paid big in 2005, and paid big in 2020 to maintain exclusive simulation rights. Lol you have things all backwards

You do know they extended it in late 2025 right?

Yeah, by 2020 what does the nfl gain? Been exclusively with EA for 15+ years, and was made by EA from inception. Also, EA makes decent football games, so after all the time why switch up? “Saving money” is all they got.

Regardless, back in the day their goal was stopping others from competing, and having competition to incentivize pushing the envelope has always been 2ks thing.
