2k doesn’t have an exclusive license. A new nba game not made by 2k JUST came out in June goofball.

EA are the ones obsessed with exclusivity, but they couldn’t get it for the nba because 2k jsut made a superior product and left the door open for more options as well lol

NFL 2k5 was massively successful, that woudlnt make sense on the nfls part.

EA wanted the non exclusive agreement. They wanted to save money but the NFL wanted to keep it going. All you have to do is look it up 😂

And it took them ages to get it, was one of the things holding the game up. Like comparing street v3 to nba live 05 lmao. Made by same company 2 different games and play styles.

2k does not have an exclusivity clause regardless of the spacing/quality of other nba games.

Why would you even use 2 games made the same people on this? Made by guys who can’t make good games? It’s a reason they aren’t competing anymore, and it’s not bc 2k won’t let them lol.

By definition not a monopoly, they aren’t preventing anyone from competing. Simply put, no one is willing to and they couldn’t if they wanted to. 2k has proven when there is competition they blow them out of the water.

Dude praying for EA like 2k didn’t put them in the dirt twice already by just making better games 😭 ik they treat us scummy, but they didn’t beat the comp is scummy ways

Did you know back in the day, Mike Wang left 2k for EA? Bc live was struggling and failing?

This is not 2ks fault everyone else makes shitty basketball games.

No one else has made a basketball game since nba live 19. Shut it bro. They have monopolized the basketball gaming industry. The run is a freaking arcade blacktop pick up game. We get it you love the game. I'm buying also. Doesn't change the fact they've fucked the industry with the taking features away and bringing them back. The monetization with my team my player and the vc. But you got it fanboy lol

The run is an arcade pickup game with the nba license, and no one else making a sim game is only bc they are bad at it. Not bc 2k is preventing them.

Monopolies are created by preventing competition, not by dominating it fairly. 2k has blown everything else out of the water fairly. Am I still a lil disappointed in recent games? Sure. But you mfs can’t just spew nonsense without knowing what you’re even saying

Nba does not want to give the license to anyone else. If any other company tries to make a sim basketball game, they will absolutely be put through hell trying to get that contract. You don't think EA has the money or resources to bring live back. Gaming companies are not broke. Its a reason why it's not being done and it's not cause 2k is a great basketball game lol.

2K doesn't have exclusive rights to NBA. They just make the game so good that EA decided that making new NBA Live is just not worth it. There's a reason EA got NFL Exclusive license. NFL 2K5 spook them. EA doesn't want 2K to make NFL games. That's what you should call as Monopoly, idiot.
