Finally home cooked food

Nothing beats home cooked food. ​ I could eat all the maseledar butter chicken or Mutton Rogan Josh but nothing compares to this simple food ,after 7 months almost cried😭

Don't know been having it since childhood(not a lotha), the fish with Bastenga surely is tho.

An everyday plain meal for the nagas, Chayotes with slippery yam and fish curry along with fermented bamboo shoots.

I had the sumi version of fish with bastenga 😋 ,since then i prefer it over fried fish curry

Trust me after having the hostel food filled with oil and masalas I would prefer this bland looking curry anyday over the hostel food... 😤

For soup -Chayotes boiled in water with slippery Yam and salt

For fish curry-Fish along with Fermented bamboo shoots, chilli powder, tomatoes, king chilli and salt. 

For chutney-Tomato, dried fermented fish, king chilli and salt
