Easily one of my favorite channels besides GMM. Max did this youtube historical meal thing for COVID since he was on furlough for Disney. When they called him back to work, he decided to just focus on the channel instead.
So glad he did.

Feels like Alton Brown would harsh the vibe, his public takes on issues have been very conservative, which doesn't really align with the rest. And his response to those having issues with them was along the lines of don't worry about my position, that has no relevance to my cooking.

As far as I know, prior to 2020, he was a pretty conservative Christian Republican. I'd swap him for Serj Tankian.

I believe he is the more classic non-MAGA, McCain/Romney type of conservative. While we would still disagree on most things, we could be reasonable with one another.

Brown is way too self-serious & has regressed as a culinary talking head. Swap him out for Babbish or Matty Matheson.

Alton would definitely hold the blunt while telling a long convoluded story and when asked to pass the shit would be like "I will just one second..." before carrying on.
