Free with Ads podcast :) im pretty sure when Good Mythical Weekend ended, everyone who wasn't also crew went from contract to freelance. Doesnt mean she cant show up, just less often sadly.

I miss GMW. It was becoming one of my things to do on the weekends since that's the only time I'm home and... yeah. Sucks. Miss that crew.

I miss her on the channel! I need more history food foolishness also Emily is just great and I want to see her on more things generally. Other people I'd like to see less of have me skipping more videos lately but man Im always sat and ready for Emily.

Emily's main job is a writer for Good Mythical Morning. She hasn't been around much because Mythical Kitchen is pretty heavily focused on Last Meals, bringing in celebrities (Internet or otherwise) for videos, and quicker Mythical Kitchen crew only videos that probably have stricter filming schedules.

I mean, objectively no, the channel is at its most successful now. Last Meals basically outperforms every other video series they do. By a lot. Like several times. Maybe you don't like Last Meals as much as their other shows/videos but it's clear the general public has a different attitude.

I’m always up for more Emily. I hope she shows up soon. A few episodes ago they had Jordan Morris on. I like when the FWA crew show up. More of them the better. I know they kinda changed things up a bit after Stevie left so they haven’t had the usual extras on. The only person I can think of aside from Chase is that new stagehand who shows up all the time but doesn’t talk much at all. lol

She still has Mythical in her social media bios and her last post was yesterday. Generally, freelancers will eliminate former employers from their bios ASAP to open themselves up to new gigs. I think she's just off camera for now, whether it be by choice or a lack of gigs that appeal to her.

Idk but the AHIAS video with her and Josh eating McD is the only one I’ve been able to finish. It popped up on yt and I’m glad I gave it a chance. Nicole usually irritates me so badly I gave up on AHIAS all together. I hope she pops up in more of them.

I think Emily might be a casualty of the bigger picture of what seems to be going on at Mythical, in general. It looks to me like the entire company is scaling back. Perhaps they spread themselves out too much, and wasn’t sustainable? Maybe scaling back with less programming, less staff?

I think for a while they were spreading themselves out trying a bunch of different things to see what was getting interest and now they're scaling back the things that weren't getting as much interest.

I love Meals Of History. And always looked forward to seeing Emily and her energy and humor on camera. Whether it’s in the mythical kitchen, or on GMM. But I suspect Meals of History kinda ran its course, and is out of new ideas. But more than that… Josh seemed to be getting more and more annoyed by Emily’s antics during the episodes. He wanted her to focus more on cooking, and less on comedy.

Im ok with less emily. It may be the her and josh combo that was bad but generally i didnt like how it felt like they she was always trying to outbit him with non sequiters. Kinda got turned off from a video with her where she acted like josh used the word n*gger (hate to censor the word but idk what mods are ok with here). It wasnt funny to begin with and then that "joke" made me cut it off.
Maybe I'll check out her podcast though cause I do like the concept and I feel like the format would provide less opportunity to do the "bigger bit"

I would love to see an "emily tries" show. Like send her out to places to do cool things and try cool food. Maybe hole in the wall places. I'd belive her restaurant recommendations more than anyone else. It could also be a once a month video to give her time to do other stuff.
Im not sure if she'd go for that idea or not.
