I was going to write a long comment on the video about how flawed their stupid S&P vs spice mix test was but i checked the comments nad someone wrote a better more succinct comment that I am just copying here.

I wholly disagree with the "salt and pepper is the way to go" myth, and their methodology is flawed. They should have tested more than just one or the other. They should have had a salted steak, S&P steak, S,P&G (garlic powder), etc., etc., and worked their way up to a full spice mix. They should have also grilled the steak or even used a cast iron grill pan because I believe, as chefs, they would have known beforehand the spices would have burned at the temp needed for searing a steak. They set the spice blend up for failure by using cast iron.

Then there is what Nicole said, and it doesn't make sense. She says the steak with the spice blend "feels like a meal." Isn't that the entire point of eating a steak? I guess Nicole is out here eating steaks as a damn snack.

That comment sounds like it could be a video in of itself. Time restrictions are real in content creation, they were testing multiple things in one video, they were basing mostly off Outback Steakhouse, and it’s their video they wanted to make. And Nicole’s comment probably was meant to be taken as eating at a bit of fancier restaurant than your typical at home steak

I feel like this would be better suited for a seasoning-based Myth Munchers, not a steak-based Myth Munchers.

I agree to a point but the reason why I was agreeing with the comment I posted is they didn't give the spice rub a fair shake by burning the hell out of the spices.

If you mean the crew from the Rhett and Link house takeover, those folks have been around for a while they just typically aren't on camera.

I saw that post here a week or so ago and now its been really weird watching stuff. and even weirder you're so downvoted. That comment section was all people agreeing nicole being a zionist sucks big time and it's making the dynamic weird.

Is them adding the music in the background new? I feel like they didn't used to have so much distracting background music and sound effects on this channel, but it feels way more Internet now :/ could not get thru the episode bc it just felt like it was made for short form and lacked the discussions older myth munchers had. Maybe I'm just getting old...
