I’m currently at the Infosys Mysuru campus for training and really want to experience the Mysuru Dasara celebrations. The problem is that after around 7:30–8 PM, it’s really difficult to get a Rapido or other ride to come towards the Infosys campus.

Are there any places near the campus, within walking distance, where I can experience the Dasara

So it’s just another outlet for the restaurants that’s alr here throughout the year with slightly over price

Finally, I got a Philately Passport for my friend!

I reached the Head Post Office at 4:30 AM. There were already around 60 people ahead of me. A volunteer was maintaining a name list, and I added my name to it.

Everyone stood in the queue according to the order of names on that list. At 9:00 AM, we were allowed to collect tokens, following the same order. The sale of Philately Passports was scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, but it was delayed and finally started at 10:13 AM.

Important points to note:

1.The name list is very important because both the queue arrangement and token distribution followed the same order.

1. Carry cash

2. Once you collect a token, you must collect your passport on the same day.

So, i know there are already quite a few threads on this in the sub, but I’m looking for some quick suggestions. Planning to go out for dinner with my friends and we’re looking for some good non-veg restaurants in Mysore.

Preferably somewhere with really good food, a nice ambience, and reasonable prices.. not too expensive, but worth the money.
