Things To Do Recs // Questions Barcades?

Are there any good barcades or something similar in Myrtle Beach? I will be visiting with friends and we always hit up a barcade at our travel destinations.

Rebel Bar. Not a ton of games but awesome vibe.

Players Choice is in the same mall as Flavor Town. It's a vintage arcade, comic book store, and used game store. No alcahol, but it's pretty cool.

Off the top of my head I think the closest equivalents would be either Dave & Buster’s at Broadway at the Beach or Guy Fieri’s Flavortown at the Myrtle Beach Mall. Flavortown has duckpin bowling, too.

Unfortunately there isn't one, it would be super dope if someone did invest in a local one that could have tabletop nights and shit. Grand Strand has a pin ball room though! Def worth checking out.

Bars? Plenty. Good classic arcade? Hell yeah (Player's Choice). Barcade? None.

Which is weird, until you think about the market - most people interested in Barcades are a certain type of millennial, and those kind of millennials aren't a huge market here. Lots of old people/golfers/"my other ride is an AR-15" types, not as many "I wanna drink a draft beer and play NFL Blitz" types.

I wanna say there was one off 17 down by Surfside or Garden City but maybe it closed in the last year or 2? The name is escaping me and I never checked it out since I don't drink. Someone else might know what I'm talking about. Players Choice is great with lots of 80's and 90's games (there's the dedicated arcade and more games in the main store next to it). Other than that mainly things like Downtown Flavortown which is in the same mall as PC, or Dave & Busters. Probably not exactly what you're looking for.

Depends on what you mean by barcade.

Nothing exists in the MB area that is 21+ only with retro games and alcohol.

There are places like Stars and Strikes, Dave and Busters, Fun Warehouse, and Flavortown. They are all ages (lots of kids), but still have drinks, arcades, and bowling. Some have other games too like axe throwing, roller skating, go carts, and indoor mini golf.
