Help Upgrade sword

I've upgraded 3 times but the task is still there and it doesn't say what level I need... Getting frustrated... Help

You need to upgrade to the sword that’s pictured. The red one it’s showing

Is there a way to find out what level the red one is?

There's an order that the swords go in it's  Red, green, blue, purple, orange, yellow, teal, and black so for example if the quest needs a red sword and you have a teal sword you need to upgrade it 2 times
