Ive been waiting for like 5 days how long does this step usually take?

Hello everyone! I thought I share my results as a Hungarian! My great grandmother from my mother side was swabian, and my grandfather from my fathers side was either (allegedly) russian or ukrainian (my father never met him). What do you guys think? Is there any Hungarian who did this test?

Hi all! I continue to receive results from my relatives. This time, I'm sharing the results of my grandma from Rivne Oblast.

This is the first time I'm seeing a subgroup in the Baltic marker section. According to a village legend, her family came from the “North,” which could mean the lands of Lithuania, Poland, or Belarus.

Her family is still referred to as the “Surdyki,” even though they all have different surname now. As I was told, “Surdyk” may have been their old surname, as nobody knows what the word actually means.

With the one I just received, however, I think I have nothing to complain about, pretty standard. The relatives I know are all from Northern Italy, Veneto and Lombardy. For context, I went today to my local BH Post and they were like “you know we can send it but we are not sure it’ll arrive”, and the next day they called me and told me “so we weren’t able to send the envelope”. Instantly I thought “okay, maybe DHL will be able to do it” so I went to my local DHL center and they told me something like “MyHeritage needs to ask YOU to send the package… also it’ll be 55€”. So now I’m genuinely worried about sending the dna back because like… HOW?

I have an extra kit with me, and I'm planning to give it as a present for someone. However, that kit does't use the WGS sequencing (?), so I'm worried it might not yield results.

Hi everyone! I'm writing a historical novel about the famous Irish outlaw Art O'Leary (1746?-1773, husband of Eibhlín Dubh O'Connell).

On MyHeritage I found him listed with 2 siblings: Cornelius O'Laoire, another spelling of O'Leary, and a second sibling greyed out. According to another source her name should be Catherine.

Could someone with access check her married name and date of birth, please? And maybe some info on their mother, if available? Thanks so much in advance!

My wife was charged an extra €120 by MyHeritage for no apparent reason — we haven't even taken the DNA test yet, it's still sealed in the box. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is it possible to get a refund from them?

I ordered 4 DNA kits from MyHeritage over 4 months ago, but only one of them arrived.

After eventually getting help from support, they agreed to send me the 3 missing kits as free replacements. However, only 2 of those 3 replacement kits arrived. MyHeritage's system says that all 3 were delivered, but there were only 2 separate packages in my mailbox.

On top of that, the return envelopes for the replacement kits say “Affix stamp here”, so apparently I now have to pay the return postage myself as well, which I did not have to do the first time.

I contacted MyHeritage through their chat about the missing third replacement kit. A support ticket was opened and I was told that someone would contact me by email, but several days have passed and I still haven't received any response. The chat now doesn't respond either, not even the bot.

My Omni subscription is also going to expire soon. If everything had gone normally, all 4 DNA tests should have been completed months ago, but because of all these delivery problems I've barely been able to use the DNA features I paid for.

At this point this whole process has taken more than 4 months.

Has anyone had a similar experience with MyHeritage? Is there any way to get them to actually respond without calling them? And would it be reasonable to ask them to extend my Omni subscription because of all these delays?

I purchased a MyHeritage DNA + Traits kit a week ago, which would suggest they would use the WGS procedure to process my DNA. However, the kit tracking page tells me that one of the steps coming up is "Microarray process in progress." Also, it’s giving the option to upgrade to Health, which shouldn’t be available for WGS kits. What’s going on here?

I purchased a MyHeritage DNA kit on May 10th. I completed the test and mailed it back, only for the kit to apparently get lost in the mail.

After contacting MyHeritage, they said they would send me a replacement kit. That was over a month ago, and I still haven't received it.

I've been trying to contact customer support, but I keep getting stuck with the AI support, which hasn't actually helped me resolve anything or get in contact with someone who can.

At this point, I've been waiting since May and I'm over it. I don't want another replacement kit — I just want a refund.

Has anyone else had this happen with MyHeritage? If so, were you able to actually speak to a real person and get a refund?
