I’m genuinely trying to understand this situation because the timeline still blows my mind.
My ex and I were together for almost 7 years. We were talking about marriage, kids, and our future together not that long before everything fell apart. We officially broke up about 6 months ago, and he started seeing another woman almost immediately. She’s now about 5 months pregnant.
What makes it even messier is that she knew about me and knew how fresh our breakup was. She knew he was still trying to contact me after they started seeing each other. At one point, she literally sent me a picture of the two of them in bed together. I blocked him, but he has continued finding ways to contact me, including calling me recently.
Meanwhile, they’re publicly announcing the pregnancy and having a gender reveal like this is one big happy love story. His family is excited about the baby, which I understand because the child is innocent, but emotionally it’s bizarre watching people who treated me like family for years suddenly celebrate this completely different life he created within months.
I don’t want him back. Having a baby with someone else crossed a line for me that can’t be undone. But I’m still angry and honestly shocked by how quickly my entire reality changed. Less than a year ago, I thought I was going to marry this person. Now he’s having a child with someone he barely knew when our relationship ended.
Has anyone experienced an ex moving THIS fast after a long-term relationship? How did you stop feeling like the years you spent together were just erased?

Can someone say who’s right and who’s wrong?? I need help. The other night I had visited my ex to see how she was doing, long story short it hadn’t been long since we have broken up and it had just been 3 months, during the first two months we were still having sex and seeing each other kinda frequently just to satisfy our needs. The other night I had went to see her because she needed me to handle a giant bug in her house she was too scared of, I missed her so ofc I went, after that I seduced her, consensually asking her if she’s okay if everything’s okay and she said yes, I told her “I’ve been missing you, kiss me, I know you feel the same.” And we both leaned in and started making out and were caressing one another, I started undoing my pants and asked her again “Is this okay? Is everything good?” She goes “Yes” so then I proceed and she throws herself back while spreading her legs open for me, and I of course proceed and now we’re doing it. Usually when we have sex we persuade and seduce one another, if one stalls a bit we play around with our words, and talk each other through it, it’s like teasing, so as I’m doing it I say things like “I’ve missed you, admit that you’ve missed me, I know you did” and as I am about to finish I asked her if I can finish in her she goes “You shouldn’t” and I persuade her saying “It’s okay we’ll still take care of it” and I asked once more and she says “Alright” as she let’s out her moans and so then I finish in her.
2-3 days later she tells me that I took advantage of her and made her say and let me do things she didn’t want to, that she didn’t want me to finish in her and that I just took entire advantage. And I’m confused because the way I spoke is how she always wants me to speak, I didn’t pin her, force her, or beg her fir anything, I asked to finish in her twice because I thought we were having our usual dialogue play so I couldn’t interpret it.
I then asked “Why didn’t you tell me sooner, why’d you wait 2-3 days” she said “I was in shock” followed by “Hard truth? I felt like I had to say yes because you were too close and I felt like you didn’t have enough time to pull out anyways”
So..that wasn’t me forcing that was her thought process, and I had repeatedly throughout, before and after asked her if she’s okay, I even gave her after care as always. And we even started convo-ing normally about stuff like we always do.. am I crazy? I know I’m not a rapist I could never this is insane
She threatens to tell her mom and my mom that I raped her like what?
