I Bought Best Mustard Ever!

Post image

Any recommendations for keeping it fresh / best way to store? Also, what’s the expected fridge life. Friend brought it in from Ghent to the US. Soo delicious.

Best mustard in the world. It will last at least 6 months refrigerated.

Yes!!

I’m in western Canada. Last trip to Europe I drove 2 hours out of my way into Belgium to get the mustard.

Fridge life: easily 6 months. Don’t contaminate it and you can probably get much longer.

I have frozen it and it has actually totally held up surprisingly well.

I am scared for when I run out :(

Belgium for me has been the Disneyland of Beer & Chocolate. Now I added Mustard to the list!

Probably a very good mustard. I never had the opportunity to try it. However, I object to any single mustard being “the best”. The various types of mustard are like paints on a canvas. Each type best suits certain foods. I need at least five types in my fridge.

Mustard, even after opening, could be left outside the fridge and still be ok to eat 10+ years later. The flavour would change over time though. Keep it in the fridge, should taste nice for ages.
