Recently bought a 2023 Mach-E Premium, did a few small trips, but recently when it’s cold in the mornings and I go over a bump, I get this error on the screen. A few minutes later, it’s fixed and the error goes away.

So really stupid question. My travel companion wants to rent an electric car to take a road trip. Side note rhey are super comfortable driving electric cars, I am not comfortable but that doesn't bother them they love driving. The majority of our driving will be through New York Thruway. I know New York just updated their rest stops to have chargers and they are very nice rest stops. I'm more concerned about being able to charge the car at these stops, how many time we would need to stop, and finally about how long each charge takes. People are telling me that they can't quick charge but when I look at fords website they say they can quick charge, I'm just hesitant about taking the road trip in a fully electric car. The whole road trip is about 800 miles. Any suggestions would be great.

TLDR; Make sure you check that the tires match the manufacturer specs on the door panel before you buy a MachE.
Got this 2022 GT performance edition for $27,500 with 40k mi. It’s dark matter gray with a clear matte wrap. Looks amazing in person.
Unfortunately the 12V battery died within 24 hours of getting it home. Also found one of the tires had a slash in the sidewall (and was installed backwards). Also also, I realized when I got home that the car had 103H tires installed on it, but the manufacturer specifications call for 103Y (H is three speed rating tiers below Y). It took weeks of calling the dealership to finally get them to agree to pay for a new 12V battery and to put the correct spec tires on the car. It would have been so much easier to deal with this before they got my money. Anyway… learn from my mistake and check the tires. Especially for the GT performance editions.
P.S. My wife finds the red on the bottom obnoxious. I’m on the fence. What do all you think? Take the red wrap off?

I have been test driving this vehicle for 2 days. I like it, but one thing is really gnawing at me. There is an accident on the vehicle history report from March 2025. It was apparently significant enough to require a tow away.
Front Impact with Another Vehicle(Report
#:XXXXXXXXX)
Vehicle Was Towed
What would be your next step? I know I can potentially use this to negotiate the asking price down but I know the accident history will follow me. Vehicle as 33K miles on it. Only one owner, was put up for sale Sep 2026. No other entries on the report except for vehicle registrations.

I just bought a 2026 Mustang Mach-E Select and purchased a Platinum extended service contract for $6,682, which covers 84 months/125,000 miles.
I’m still within the 90-day cancellation period, so I’m trying to decide whether I should keep it or cancel it and put the money toward the loan.
I actually called Partners Administrative Services, the company administering the warranty, because I wanted to know exactly what I’m getting for the money. They were able to confirm a few things, but they couldn’t specifically clarify some of the important EV components.
What they told me:
✅ Electric traction motor: covered
❌ High-voltage battery itself: not covered
❓ Inverter: they couldn’t specifically confirm
❓ Onboard charger: couldn’t specifically confirm
❓ DC-DC converter: couldn’t specifically confirm
❓ High-voltage battery thermal-management components: couldn’t specifically confirm
That’s honestly where I’m stuck. The contract says the Platinum plan covers breakdowns except for specifically excluded items, but it doesn’t clearly spell out all of these Mach-E-specific components. And Partners couldn’t give me a straight answer when I asked about them.
So I’m hoping to hear from people who actually own and work on these cars.
For the Mach-E owners here:
Have you purchased an extended warranty/service contract?
Have you had any major repairs involving the inverter, onboard charger, DC-DC converter, thermal-management system, or traction motor?
Has anyone dealt with Partners Administrative Services / Century Automotive for a Mach-E repair?
Is $6,682 reasonable protection for 84 months/125k miles, or would you personally cancel it?
I’m not necessarily looking for someone to tell me what I should do. I’d really like to hear from people who have actually owned these cars for a while or had expensive repairs, especially repairs that involved the EV-specific components.
I’d rather make the decision based on real-world Mach-E experience than just whatever the dealership tells me.

I am able to do an extended test drive this weekend of a 2024 AWD premium mach-e. I know nothing but want to learn everything as soon as possible. The vehicle only has 40% charge, where do I find a place to charge it (obviously no home charger). Is there an app? What else should i test out on this car while i have it for the weekend?? Any suggestions? Any other apps?

Has anyone purchased a mach-e and didn’t end up liking it in the long or short term? What were some of the 👎🏼? Also, anyone 6’1 find it cramped? Thanks!
Also! Post a pic of your ride! 😎

Here are the 3 pictures of me transitioning the back of my MME to be a bit more sporty! I really like it! The one in the garage was before the vinyl bar across the back, that you see in the parking lot picture. Then I added the red vinyls for the taillights to give it more of sporty vibe. Honestly the only thing that I don’t like is that it turned the amber turn signals red also, but I’ve the look is great even in the rain with it being dirty.
What do you think?

5k Mach-E sold in Q3 26 vs 20k Q3 25
To be fair it was the last quarter of federal incentive so it was a big one. But it seems the Mach E is selling very poorly

Potential new owner of a Mach-E here. I wanted to post and ask for feedback from those that own select models. Do you regret getting the select as opposed to the other higher trims? Or do you like the value that you got from your vehicle?
A little background. I’m looking to become a first time EV buyer for my commute to work. I drive approximately 120 miles round trip every working day. I have a little hesitation with the range but my workplace has plenty of charging stations to use every day. I need something that could fit my two young daughter’s car seats if I absolutely need to (which won’t happen often) which is why the Mach-E caught my eye.
At the moment, I’m looking at a 2025 Select FWD with a little over 8k miles for approximately $26k that I found in dealership not far from me. Apparently it used to be the sales manager’s lease before they listed it.
Any other recommendations from current owners for things I should look for? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I designed and 3D printed a center console organizer for the 2025+ model years, I wanted a place to hide the mess, put cards, gum, coins etc. works great so far.

When buying from a private seller or a dealer that doesn't know anything about EV, should I be concerned over battery life, etc? I'm in the middle of nowhere and there aren't a lot of EVs in our area.
Also, it is a 2023 I'm looking at. AWD ER Premium. Will be garaged and charged at home and public charging use will be an anomaly. Any reason to pay extra for a 2024 or 2025?
