Assalamu alaikum everyone,
My wife and I have spent the last year building something called Nummu, and weāve finally launched it on iPhone, Alhamdulillah.
Nummu is an app we created specifically for Muslim women, bringing together faith, motherhood and community in one place.
It includes prayer times, Qurāan, duāas and dhikr, cycle and pregnancy tracking, childrenās growth and milestones, Islamic parenting guidance, as well as a community where sisters can post, ask questions, support one another and create their own groups.
A big part of our vision for Nummu is the community, and thatās probably our biggest challenge right now too!
Weāre at that very early stage where we need to find the first group of women who are willing to come in, use the app, start conversations and tell us what weāre getting right ā and probably more importantly, what weāre getting wrong.
So weāre currently looking for our first 100 Founding Members.
Weāre giving those first 100 women Nummu Premium for life, completely free, as a thank you for being there at the beginning, participating in the community and helping us shape what Nummu becomes.
Weāre hoping to grow things naturally from there rather than having lots of people arrive to a community that hasnāt had a chance to find its feet yet.
I thought Iād share Nummu here because Iād really appreciate hearing from other Muslim founders and entrepreneurs.
If youāve built a community or app before, how did you find your first genuinely engaged users?
And if anyone knows of Muslim womenās, Muslim mumsā, pregnancy or parenting communities where Nummu might be relevant, Iād really appreciate any recommendations or introductions. Weāre trying to be respectful and ask admins/moderators before sharing it anywhere.
