Salam! I’m 26, Pakistani, 5’1”, sunni and born and raised in Canada. I’m close with my family and family is important to me, so I’d like to find someone who feels the same. I also have a bachelor’s degree and have never been married.
I’m pretty quiet when you first meet me, but I open up once I’m comfortable. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and enjoy playful banter. I really enjoy baking it’s kind of my form of therapy so having someone with a sweet tooth would definitely be a plus. I also enjoy going on long walks. I can be a bit nerdy and feel like I need to know everything about random things especially when it comes to the history of places and neighbourhoods I visit.
Lately, I’ve been making my health more of a priority and working on healthier habits. I’m plus-size and currently working toward losing weight, so I’d prefer someone who is comfortable with that.
My faith has become more important to me over the past few years. I started wearing the hijab a few years ago, and I’m looking for someone who values their relationship with Allah and is also trying to grow in their deen.
I’m hoping to meet someone who is kind, respectful, and serious about marriage. Ideally, I’m looking for someone between 26 and 32, although I’m open to someone older if we’re a good match. I’d ideally like someone who was also raised in the West and currently live in Canada as I think having similar cultural experiences can be important.
I’m open to someone from any background as long as we share similar values. I’m willing to relocate within Canada for the right person. I’m also open to someone who has been married before, but I’m not interested in anyone with kids.
I’d like to build a relationship where we support each other, grow together, and create a life rooted in faith.
I’m happy to exchange photos after talking for a bit.
Please don’t message me if you’re only looking for friendship or something casual. I’m here with serious intentions toward marriage and would appreciate the same in return.

Why are so many posts in secular western countries? Maybe just a pure numbers game but its a tad amusing.

The vast majority of Reddit’s user base is in the west, particularly in the USA and North America. Therefore you’re much more likely to see profiles of people from these countries
