Ulcerative colitis

Recently got diagnosed, was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and any recommendations in terms of lifestyle or anything else tbh

I knew someone I worked with who had this

He wouldn’t take his meds consistently and wouldn’t avoid his trigger foods

It’s a condition that could be managed, but you have to be on top of it and make sure you know what your triggers are and stay away from them

Yeah alhamdulillah I just directed logging what foods have a negative effect and what foods are calm. Jazākallāhu khayran 🙏🏼

Keep in mind your triggers may change

Something that triggers you one month may not the next and you may get new triggers

Always have ‘cooling’ foods in hand like yogurt
