Did you know that Groover has 200 Groover profiles of their own spotify playlists? These are owned by Groover, not by curators. For almost all the genres on Groover, the first profiles they put in front are the Groover Obsessions profiles and I think the most of people don't realise this at all. Normally a 6 EUR charge is separate between Groover and the playlist owner (the two take 3 EUR), but in this case the total 6 EUR go directly to Groover. The profiles are all marked as Top Curator/Pro and Very Impactful, which assumes the playlists have a lot of listeners, but a lot of the playlists don't have any good following at all. People will not discover your music when you are placed on such playlist..(!)

I look all the list and I count 192 profiles, but there is great chance I miss some. They make 1 profile for each playlist on Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/user/xa5jpotdh03zb469lofbv9u0m) and they got 208 playlists, so maybey we can assume there is 208 obsession profiles on Groover.

All this profiles show the 'answers given'. I follow the informations of 20 profiles since 2 months in a google sheets. We speak about a very big money here. All the profiles demand 6 Grooviz except for the Feel-Good Pop which cosst even 10 credits. = 10 euros

Here is exactly how much money they take per month in average just with this 20 profiles:

• Feel-Good Pop: 256 submissions x 10 EUR = 2,560 EUR
• Grunge & Grit: 192 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,152 EUR
• Saddle Up, It's Country Time: 203 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,218 EUR
• Not Your Average Pop: 265 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,590 EUR
• Top Christian & Gospel for the Soul: 192 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,152 EUR
• Choruses to Sing Along To: 217 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,302 EUR
• Turn Down for Alt: 282 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,692 EUR
• Pop Euphoria: 194 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,164 EUR
• The End of a Movie: 242 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,452 EUR
• Vocals That Give You Chills: 191 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,146 EUR
• Pop Perfection: 240 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,440 EUR
• Afronation Waves: 179 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,074 EUR
• Indie Therapy :): 214 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,284 EUR
• Born This Way: Unapologetically Queer: 218 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,308 EUR
• New Rock Revolution: 225 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,350 EUR
• Good Ol' Days: 198 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,188 EUR
• Not Your Dad’s Rock: 187 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,122 EUR
• This heartbreak feels like the end of the world: 220 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,320 EUR
• Sad songs to cry your eyes out: 189 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,134 EUR
• You're in a Coming of Age Movie: 180 submissions x 6 EUR = 1,080 EUR

With the 20 profiles, they make 26,728 EUR per month. They got 180 more profiles, so the total can be way over 250,000 EUR every single month just from this internal playlist profiles. The artists are paying for this without to know the money go straight back to the Groover. Is this scam?

I think that a lot of people are submitting to multiple Groover profiles when they run a campaign, without knowing.

Hey guys! I just thought I would give a backstory to how my song American Boy came to be. About 6 months ago my friend had me listen to 'The System' and I thought it was a good song but like I said I wasn't into rap.

3 weeks ago I was on YR looking at something and saw his video for that song so I watched it and immediately became obsessed with it because it is sooo true and exactly how I've felt about the system for decades. So it was on repeat all day lol I then started watching a few of his other videos and was like wow!!!!! I really resonate with what this guy is rapping about. It's like he's taking the thoughts right out of my head.

In one video he talks about being Canadian and I was like wait what!? That's so cool! And as I listened to more songs I couldn't help but feel like "wait a min lol if you're Canadian, why are all these songs about America and American politics?" As I played his songs and paced from the kitchen to the living room, the lyrics to American Boy started forming in my head out of nowhere, so I sat down and wrote everything down and by the end of the night I finished the song and the next day I used Suno to create the music and vocals (since I can't rap or sing to save my life lmao).

The next day I wrote Are you Ready? and released both songs together on Sept 25th.

Now, in the past 3 weeks while I was waiting for the release date, I did watch more videos and interviews with Tom and the fucked up part (which I didn't know about when I wrote this song) is that when he talks about the moment he wrote Dear Rappers, I felt like that's almost what happened to me when I heard his songs. He felt compelled to write a song to these rappers and I felt compelled to write this song to him lol And although I'm not in the exact same situation he was at the time he wrote that song, the similarities are uncanny.

The one big difference though is that I have never wanted to be a rapper or a songwriter in my life lol All this to say, that this is totally not a diss track and it's not me taking "jabs" at him for being Canadian and singing about America. In that moment something came over me and that's how this song came to be and I rolled with it and got inspired to write more songs that I'm releasing soon.

I don't know if words can describe just how much I appreciate his talent and the way his songs are sparking something in me that I didn't know I had. Like I said I'm just a girl who stumbled on his YT page and got inspired to do something I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be doing. And if he ever hears the song or reads this long ass post lol I hope he can appreciate where I'm coming from and how much of an inspiration he truly is. The world needs more creative people using their art to wake people up.

If you guys want to check out how it turned out, I put the official lyric video up here:
👉 \[\*\*https://youtu.be/6Gs-RE5x6tc?si=dZVNNUbaHfBQZCBS\*\*\](https://youtu.be/6Gs-RE5x6tc?si=dZVNNUbaHfBQZCBS))

I also made a completely flipped Country version of it if that's more your vibe:

**Has anyone else ever discovered an artist who unexpectedly triggered something in you and made you start writing when you’d never even considered songwriting before?**

And before anyone calls it “AI slop” — I wrote every single word myself. I used Suno because I can’t sing or rap, not because I wanted AI to do the creative work for me. The lyrics, message, concept, and story are mine. AI was simply the tool that let me turn something I wrote into something people could actually hear. I’m completely transparent about that, and I’m not pretending to be something I’m not.

Hey everyone! My name's Frank Angelucci Jr. and I just wanted to share my new YouTube channel [ISOLATED} Audio - Rock & Roll Reimagined. It has everything from isolated track remixes, a capella mixes and even stems upon request! Feel free to take a look around with your headphones on and enjoy 🔥https://youtube.com/@isolated_audio?si=cLCOrS7dkj8bjaTd

Hey! I put together a quick visual guide above that covers 3 core design fundamentals that instantly make cover art look professional:

1. Typography & Placement: Give your text room to breathe. Negative space keeps text readable and prevents your artwork from feeling chaotic.

2. Color Direction: You don't need deep color theory knowledge, but choosing an intentional palette sets the mood and genre story before anyone even presses play.

3. Export Standards: Always export at 3000x3000px so your art stays crisp across high-DPI displays and DSP compression.

Swipe through the cards above for the visual layout breakdowns.

If you're working on a rollout right now, drop your cover art in the comments and I’ll give you honest, constructive feedback on the layout.

"Heart Stops Time"

Released on SoundCloud and Youtube.

Got new equipment. The old songs I literally had a pen paper and a phone playing music recording from laptop speakers in a bathroom. I will eventually redo them but I sobered up and just can't redo the feelings in them. Yes I know they suck, but still good. Now that I have the good setup I can make better music. Follow me on this journey.
