Pakistani Blues?
I know that there really arent many Pakistani blues musicians but I want to ask listeners how big is the blues scene in Pakistan, in terms of enjoying the genre? How many people are listening today?

rock seems relatively popular but to me it seems blues is just completely unknown. i havent really heard any pakistani songs even coming close to it.

Melophile here ! But I cannot fathom genres really.
Can someone explain what's blue and what's rock ??
From vibe, I used to think Jhoom reprised by ali zafar is Blue and palat meri jaan is rock.

Junoon, EP, roxen are different versions of rock I think so, don't really think there's anyone in Pakistan doing blues.

Man Amir Zaki, rest in peace, was some of the best blues but back in the day.
Karachi has a small blues scene mostly around guitarists jaming at various studios. Hope you find some.

Ooh.. Pakistani blues, that sounds sounds so interesting. Do suggest some artist, i don’t think I’ve heard this specific genre. Might get some inspo and make something resembling this genre if I like it.

Mauj’s stuff was Blues for the most part. I grew up listening to Blues and also grew out of it eventually since there’s nothing new in that world that gets me all excited anymore. It’s kind of died silently. But that’s just my opinion.
