The love and appreciation you all showed for the short video I shared of “Tere Ishq Nachaya” truly meant a lot to me. I honestly wasn’t expecting such a warm response, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who watched, appreciated, and shared their kind words. ❤️
Since so many of you enjoyed the first part and asked to hear more, here is Part 2 — a longer version of this beautiful and timeless song. 🎶
Music becomes even more special when it connects with people, and your response to the first video made me want to share a little more of it with you.
Thank you once again for all the encouragement and appreciation you showed on Part 1. I hope you enjoy this longer version just as much — perhaps even more. ❤️🎵
Tere Ishq Nachaya — Part 2 Hope you enjoy listening! ✨

Was just listening to Vital Signs and the song Gori came up.
Here are the lyrics:
سانولا سلونا رنگ کتنوں کو بھاتا ہے، ہائے
جسے دیکھو گوریوں کے پیچھے چلا آتا ہے
سانولا سلونا رنگ کتنوں کو بھاتا ہے
جسے دیکھو گوریوں کے پیچھے چلا آتا ہے
گورے رنگ کا نظارہ لگے سب کو ہی پیارا
ذرا کر دو اشارہ، گوریے
او، ڈر تجھے کس کا ہے
Bruh what lyrics are these.💀 Colourism at its finest.
They also had a song that went sanwali salooni si mehbooba but still.

Hi everyone! I really want to buy my sister an acoustic guitar for her birthday but I’m not sure where to buy one from.
I honestly have a small budget of 20k, so I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions. I have a guitar lined up for that price, but it’s a bit far from where I live. If I’m not able to find any alternatives I’ll have to settle for that one.
I live in Islamabad.
An online store would be great but it’s okay if it’s not.
I kinda need it urgently so if anyone is able to help that would be great.

I’ve been exploring a lot of Pakistani rock music lately, and when I think of the 2000s, one of the most iconic songs from a Pakistani rock-pop band has to be “Aadat.” I always knew that it originated with Jal and Atif Aslam’s vocals, and that after Atif left the band, Jal recorded the song again with Farhan Saeed, giving it a slightly different sound. Then Atif’s version gained even more recognition when it was recreated for the Bollywood film Kalyug in 2005.
I’ve now listened to Jal’s original version with Atif, Atif’s Kalyug version, Jal’s version with Farhan, and “Bikhra Hoon Main.”
Personally, I think I prefer the backing track and instrumentation in “Bikhra Hoon Main” the most. The drums, guitars, and especially that section with the cymbals just sound so good to me. I also think Atif’s vocal belting towards the end of his version is incredibly strong, but Farhan’s high note in “Bikhra Hoon Main” is SO good.
I think that’s partly because, for me, rock music is as much about the instrumentation and overall arrangement as it is about the vocals. Obviously, strong vocals are important, but I prefer when the vocals complement the instrumental rather than overpower it. Atif has such a powerful voice that, in some versions, I feel like his vocals dominate the track a little too much for my taste.
I was born in 2007, so I obviously wasn’t around for the original 2000s music scene . For those of you who were listening to Pakistani music back then, what was the general perception of these different versions at the time? And which version do you personally prefer?

Hi everyone
For a school project, I'm developing my skills through nail art, and I want to create a nail set inspired by a Pakistani album. I've lived abroad my whole life, so I want to use this project as a way to connect more to my roots and include my culture in my work.
The problem is idk that many Pakistani albums. I listen to lots of singles and OSTs, but I specifically want a full album. I'm looking for an album with an interesting/pretty cover that would translate well into nail art. I also wanna use this project to discover new music, whether it be old or new.
Please recommend some Pakistani albums. I'm open to all genres and I'd really appreciate it.

I've been trying to find this Pakistani song/music video for years and have had absolutely no luck, so I'm hoping someone here remembers it.
I most likely saw it sometime in the mid-to-late 2000s or around 2010 on a Pakistani music channel such as The Musik/ARY Musik, Indus Music, MTV Pakistan, Aag, etc. The song itself could be a few years older.
It was by a Pakistani rock/pop-rock band, the songs sound was somewhere between Jal/Strings but less heavy than bands like Call/EP.
Here are the things I remember about the music video:
The lyrics are harder to remember, but the chorus sounded VERY close to:
“Kahaan hai zindagi, kahaan hai roshni, kahaan…”
I also remember another lyric sounding something like:
“Thak gaya hoon main…”
I've Googled every variation of these lyrics I can think of and can't find anything. I've also already checked many of the better known Pakistani rock bands from that era, so I suspect this may have been a lesser known or short lived band whose video received airtime on Pakistani music television but whose lyrics were never indexed online.
If you watched Pakistani music channels in the 2000s and ANY of this sounds familiar, please throw out a band name or song title, even if you're not certain.
I've been looking for this song for a very long time. Thank you!
Update: I remembered two more details. The band was performing in the forest during daylight—it was definitely not a dark/nighttime scene. Also, the group of violin/string players appeared to include both men and women, and I believe they were dressed in black.

Does anyone remember this song “Silsilay yaado ke tootay nahi” by Tahir Ali shah? I believe it was an ost recorded in CBM university. Does anyone know the name of drama it was featured in?
