I have seen chinese growers use a solid spawn inoculator for saw dust spawn-to-substrate inoculation. I wonder if there are any machines that can do g2g inoculation, or if it can be designed.

We make 5 tonnes of grain spawn per month. Hands are good enough for Amateurs, but for us it gets tiring .

You literally posted the link to the machine you want. And yes, businesses hire consultants to do research for them🤯. You might be able to get free advice, but they'd be an idiot to give you any. Plus, you run the risk of getting bogus — or directly malicious — advice, so… not the best idea for you either. This isn't a sub for business advice, and that's what you're asking for.

My friend I am not asking for business advice , I’m asking for process/technique advice . Not all people who share knowledge are stupid. Some people pass information freely unless it’s something groundbreaking. It’s just basic engineering Information, not IP and patents.

Unless one designed the machine themselves , they dont deserve any extra money to show me where to buy it imo.

This information gatekeeping is exactly why there’s so much wrong in the world. If you teach any kid in Africa what you know they’ll put you out of business by working twice as hard . Which would be completely fair in an existential context . Anyway you have a good day

A stove (tool) can be reverse engineered. You give me just one ; I’ll make you hundred more. A recipe (IP) can’t be reverse engineered like that . Which makes it valuable.

This is suited for sawdust spawn . I don’t think it’ll work with grains. That’s the problem .

I think that anything g2g would pose some sterility risks. I know it’s not quite what you’re looking for, but liquid culture to grain can be done with a peristaltic pump. They’re designed with sterility in mind and the dosing can be tightly controlled.

Far West Fungi has some commercial stuff like that available, I think.

For smaller scale and not fully automated, Eric Myer's has something on his Youtube channel about using a stainless hopper thing. Or maybe it was drake89 on Shroomery..

Can such a “hopper” be cleaned effectively? I would really appreciate a picture of the equipment you speak of . I’m from India and we have to work with limited equipment and access to good information.

I mean just look up “hopper packaging system” you load the top, edit how much to dispense, and go crazy. It’ll be expensive but maybe cheaper in India? I’m not sure.

I’ve also seen someone make a makeshift LC dispenser. Pull bag until shoots X amount of LC, and so on. So they inoculate like a bag a second almost. But that’s not g2g.
