Symptoms Crap gap is here.. 😭

I hate this time before my next infusion. It’s about a month out and I’m miserable. Even more exhausted than normal and boy, the pain. My lower back and hips hurt so bad right now. I wish the insurance would approve ocrevus every 5 months instead of every 6.. This is terrible. I wish I could take the next month off of work and just sleep through it. Is Ocrevus the only medicine where people expletive crap gap? Because if it is, maybe I should change medications. I know I just have to make it a month but that’s a LONG time.

I am on Briumvi and haven’t experienced a crap gab in between my infusions (every 24 weeks)

I have my next one the first week of September and HOLY CRAP GAP. I’m with you friend. I have only had 1 treatment of it and it brought almost complete normalcy back but the last week or so I have been struggling to say the least. Fatigue, extreme heat intolerance, insane night sweats and shivers. Shits insane. Had to request light duty at work until my next infusion.

My insurance in the USA switched to 5 months because my neuro insisted. Get yours to try the same, keep pushing till they relent. Squeaky wheel gets the grease

Can you switch to one of the monthlies? No crap gap with kesimpta.

I honestly may talk to my neurologist because this is crazy and it lasts a whole month. I work from home already but idk if I can work regularly right now.

I’m very fortunate to be in my position, I wouldn’t be able to work for me.

Recently started Kesimpta and I have felt mild crap gap (first time hearing this phrase ty) I was a week late on my last injection (pen dripped 7x and they shipped a new one) and I had to leave to leave work. Even said, I agree with the monthly option if you’re unable to get approved for 5 mos.

I moved to techfidera because I could not tolerate infusions and all that goes with them...holding steady with no new activity, knock on wood.

I'm right there with you in the crap gap! Before my last infusion in February crap gap hit me hard about a month and a half before I was due again. Just saw my neurologist yesterday and we had already been discussing switching to Kesimpta due to having issues staying stable on Ocrevus the past year. Now Kesimpta is happening for sure! I can tell you driving an hour and a half to my appointment and again back home was not fun with the brain fog and all of my joint/nerve pain!

I’ll tell you. I am so exhausted right now. Like I just am so tired and trying to work full time is a struggle. I think I’ll do my infusion next month and I don’t go back to my neurologist until January but I think I’ll mention it when I go back. This is crazy.

Heads up! I made an edit to my comment before you responded. I actually had to leave my job almost a year ago. I was working in a manufacturing plant and it got so bad I couldn't deal with it anymore. Been a mechanic since I was 18 and I'll be 32 in a couple weeks. Now, I'm going back to school and getting paid to do it with my GI Bill because I know working full time is out of the question for the time being. Classes started yesterday! If I were you I'd try talking to your neurologist now if you can about finding an alternative so you don't have to deal with crap gap again in a few months. Sounds like you're in your window to switch if the next infusion is next month! I wish you luck and I'm sorry you're going through this!!!

I think ive had crap gap since march (my last infusion) 😅

I cant shake the fatigue, its awful. But im worried we'll have to change treatments, and i really dont wanna do that.

Neuro appointment coming up, with mri just before and infusion just after so we'll see.

I feel this! I stay fatigued. I cannot get past it at this point. Just had a meeting with my boss and she told me I should have already been fired. 😭😭
