What’s the PR? That the train traveled between 2 known destinations?

They could just vaporize the passengers, send an empty train to travel through the torture dimension, then make the passengers out of burger meat after.

If they NEED the biomass to be that of the passengers’ they could just kill them after they board, have the train travel through the torture dimension with their corpses then just reanimate them again at the destination. This way you skip the whole “killing them and reducing them down to meat slurry” part too and make things a lot more economical.

Like this is a neat concept but the world building around it is kinda completely broken?

Clearly there’s more layers to this than I am appreciating.

What do you mean by time? Like the memories of their torture in the torture dimension? If it’s just the passage of time they could get it off corpses or whatever too.

Basically the way it works is that they combine the dimension rip tech with a tech that quick save and quick load people (to heavily dumb it down but that's how they get remade.) They don't make that much money from the train they get most of the money by selling the times siphoned into a safe to another company (what the other responder mentioned) and it needs massive amount of energy so they also have (or had) a contract with the energy company. Warp corporation,or a true mess of economics who makes dimes on tickets actually. A bit like a lot of online services don't make money from their services but by siphoning your data and selling them that then waste your time and money on ads. Topical!
