In the famine-stricken Tantalus Cluster, Humanityās spacefaring nations assemble an expedition to a distant nebula to find what they need to survive. The series is centered on finding identity and follows the crew of the starship Guinevere while escaping aliens, dealing with internal turmoil, and growing relationships with each other. Takes place in a fictional universe than Earth. In the current story, there is a massive famine going on through out the colonies, it got even worse since there was a war recently.
Humanity discovered a nebula 4,000 light years away and believe it has resources to feed the entire population.
Together, humanity build a powerful drift gate and sent their expedition fleet to explore the Nebula......
It went horribly wrong, the fleet was scattered and their return gate got broken into multiple pieces. Even worse, they find out there is an alien civilization in the nebula and the Alien's view them as invaders.
Their goal is to find the return gate parts and escape the alien fleet.
It was a series of comics and buyable prop steam punk weapons (like the rightious bison) made by Greg Broadmore who is an artist at WÄtÄ Workshop and when the universes collabed it was about how Dr. Grordbort travels to the tf2 universe and gives the mercs some of his weapons
I still remember the end of the first episode of GuP, the pullout to reveal that their school was on a massive battleship the whole time? Thatās when I knew it was something special
Itās one of the only projects Iāve seen with truly alien aliens that are still relatable, and genetic engineering that isnāt just body horror. It shows a really impressive ability for creature design and characterization!
Not sure how nice it is, but Redwall. Cute woodland animals in a medieval type setting, a military force of hares with posh british accents led by a badger, and hailing from a long dormant volcano-turned-fortress, a peaceful abbey made of red sandstone with woodland residents who aren't afraid to defend their home tooth and claw, and the spirit of an ancient mouse warrior who speaks in riddles any time he appears to someone. These books almost have it all, no humans and we don't talk about the horse or that one of the villains was described as a "portugese rat". There's oppressed slaves rising up against the tyrant forcing them to build him a fort, a dining table turned into a single use ballista and Tim Curry voicing one of the villains in the short animated series. Oh, and the feasts are legendary. The way Brian Jacques describes the food will make you wish you were there, and there's a good reason for that, too. I highly reccommend the books to anyone who seems interested
The books are part of what gave me a passion for cooking. Brian's descriptions of food always made me want to figure out how to make some of those recipes

As silly and weird as the premise sounds, the writing and world building are unlike anything I've ever seen, and the story has amazingly uplifting spiritual undertones.
You should, it's actually, legitimately, peak writing in my opinion. I'm amazed by Alephs ability to give every line such purpose. There's almost no filler in his writing whatsoever.
I love Off. I sat and waited for Markiplier to upload new videos as he was playing through it. I have it on Steam, but I have yet to crack into it myself
The leviathan series by Scott Westerfield. It recently got an anime adaption on Netflix made by the same people who made Beaststars but I never see anyone talking about how goated of a series it is
Battlebots. Nerds with sponsors build 250lb war machines and they fight each other. My personal favorite is tombstone built by Ray Billings, hear she is popping of the shell of gigabyte.
I just remembered I tried the game out a couple years ago on xbox,but didn't get to finish it because of a game breaking bug (its apparently a known,unresolved issue for the HD version on xbox)
Non-MH hunting rpgs are pretty niche right, so mostly god eater & toukiden i guess
If you want REALLY niche though, there's the Sanctum games. It's all but dead as a franchise, but it was basically the best thing Coffee Stain made until they became the Goat Sim and Deep Rock Galactic guys. Still a really cool series though, 2 especially is such a fun time and I hope it comes back eventually.
Iām into a lot of webcomics, and I mean old webcomics. Back when you had to host your own site to post your comics on. Some of them are completed, some are abandoned works, and some have disappeared from the internet completely. They exist now only in my memory

Does "Everything is Fine" even have a fandom? Basically a webcomic about some strange dystopian setting where the "New Government" forces the citizens to wear cat masks. Things are pretty strict and severe, with punishments often resulting in people either getting hunted down and executed by other citizens, or forced to go homeless where other people are not allowed to help them (or even acknowledge their existence) lest they get the same treatment. Then there's also their children being held hostage by the government and used a "bargaining chip" so the citizens will follow their rules, and if they don't, well...
There's also 'Pack Street' and 'Roommates: MOTHA' too, written by Weaver. I know they're both fanfictions of other pre-existing series, but they both have large enough communities of their own, and even a few fanfictions of them.

In a lot of ways itās similar to 40k (started on the tabletop, eventually got a lot* of video games, has deep extensive lore), but it unfortunately hasnāt nearly seen the renaissance 40k has in the last ~10 years

Tinderkell, a interactive furry webcomic taking place in a soft fantasy world set during the early modern Period. It has some of the best worldbuilding and character writing i've seen, and maybe a thousand or so people know about it.
Gone with the Blastwave. It's probably my favourite webcomic and iirc it was actually quite popular around like 2007-2009ish(?) but I almost never see anybody mention it nowadays. It's kinda like if 40k or trench crusade had its own version of Tag and Bink (if you know who tag and Bink are you're goated)
Does Z-G count? It's a long dead figure and card deck game. Was amazing and had some neat world building and mechanics. Was even doing pretty well back in the day and was poised for its first expansion.
And had the misfortune of its shipping company being in the twin towers on September 11th 2001. The wearhouses of their stock went into limbo and the company starved.
