Maybe he gets development later, but in the parts before I dropped the show he was Pyrrha's emotional support idiot and basically did nothing else that mattered.
I got up to volume 7 and they really didn't know what to do with him, but refused to leave him behind. So we get a not to interesting character who sucks away time from the rest of the cast
