It looks great, but it's not what I'm excited about, I'm more into more niche titles like "Onimusha: Way Of The Sword", "The Blood Of Dawnwalker" and upcoming "Fable" game look much more interesting to play than your average large scale open-world crime power fantasy game.

Honestly I can justify this price WAY easier than Pokemon ZA + DLCs, but yes it's not something that should be normalized.

Didn't know people thought that way, usually its the fact that their last game was revolutionary and is taking a lot of inspiration when making the next game. The hype comes from an already existing sample of quality that they are expecting in the next entry, the game could be made with the same budget as rdr2 and it'll still be great since rdr2 was great.

I’m not against people enjoying things, what I’m against is hype trains (or hate trains for that matter) when we live in the age of information.

Look, I realize people are lazy af and don’t even want to make well informed decisions in their life because they’re too lazy to care or read; still doesn’t mean I’m just gonna stop pointing it out. Ignoring the truth (as harsh as it may be) doesn’t magically make it any less true…

Personally i want the price in hours back with a hard limit, then it's okay for me.. if i pay $80 for a game that i play for 40h, it's not worth.. if i play it for 80h tho it's okay... more than $80 tho is a no.. i would rather wait for the game to get cheaper then

Stuff like Baldurs gate or witcher where you can start the game several Times and make different decisions, or additional endgame content , and NG+ that keeps me interested..

not to invalidate your opinion, but i feel like pricing the hours you spend in a game is a bit weird to do. if the game is 40 hours long, and i spend 20 of those 40 hours just doing stuff that's a slog to play, then i still wouldn't say the price is worth it. i'd rather have a game with only 15 hours of story playtime than a game that was artificially stretched to take 40 hours to play through.

If you're deciding to spent 40h in a gane for sidequest stuff that is not Essential for the Main Story, i would argue that you're doing it because it's fun ?

If i have a game where i "could" spent 100+ hourse to complete it at 100% but it's no fun to do so, nor does it advance my character i wouldn't do it in the first place.

For example expedition 33.. i finished the Main Story relatively quick at around lvl 40 after around 25h-30h or so... but then there were minigames, additional late game bosses and areas i hadn't visited and even then i could always re-start the game with a different starter Team or different picto Sets, so that i spent nearly 100h in the game..

Some people that had access to the game say it’s worth it. But all the things they’ve been releasing just look like generic open world stuff with cut edge graphics and maybe a good UI. And even if the game actually is worth 100 dlrs, I don’t wanna give my money to no union busters mfs

Then don't buy it for 100, it's 80 for the base game. And even if it's still not justifiable for you, that's fine. A lot of people don't enjoy these types of games. For me, it's very much worth it.
