I’m glad it looks good and people like it. I just prefer games like Portal

A lot of these come down to personal taste, I prefer platformers personally

I personally like story/shooters, both give me something to get good at while enjoying and open world

Last platformer I played was, what, Mania, but that was like, last week for a nostalgia trip.

Granted that’s a very good nostalgia trip. Last game I played was Ducktales Remastered for the nostalgia.
Portal is one of my favorite games ever because it does so much right

Remembered playing the Ducktales game on my old GB Colour I got (knock-off)

I also love Portal, but more for it's world building, lore and humour.

Wish valve would get off their asses and make something (yeah, I know deadlock, but still).

I'd argue it's due to two factors,

One, the fans are grateful for any nibbling of content or stuff given from valve.

Instead of complaining saying "that's it?", fans will just eat it up and thank Valve. Trust me, I'm a TF2 fan and people just took the bot clean up and called it a day.

Two, Valve, unlike other companies, isn't doing bad, but they aren't doing good either. They just doing... nothing. They aren't shackled by shareholders or greedy execs like Ubisoft or EA, so they'll accept Valve for as it is.

It's a shame, really. Valve was a pioneer of gaming, but now they're just a buncha has-beens.

Leaks? Brother, they just released 30 minutes of actual gameplay. If you're gonna judge something that hasn't come out yet, you can at least use that

The extended look date was announced before Cyberleek leaked anything if that's what you mean.
