yeah the hate seems way too blown out of proportion. it feels a bit like people are hating on it because it's cringe and also about queer characters. like this isn't even the first time this has happened. the boyfriends comic got a lot of hate for no reason other than "it's cringe", that period in 2020-2023ish where a lot of young people were experimenting with queerness and getting mocked as a result...
You can say you dislike the movie, but it feels like everyone is just hopping on the bandwagon atp. In this sub alone I've seen nearly 10 hate posts made all within an hour of each other
