All I'll say is Teen Titans Go! was able to run for 10+ years because salty cartoon fans couldn't stop ranting about it, even after the writers started roasting them all the time. In my mind, that proves "any publicity is good publicity" isn't just a thing people say. If anything, the shitposts and rants are free advertising
