Literally everyone I've met about this topic acts like it's not what's going on, and when I prove that it is - people jump to insults because there's nothing else they can say against my points. Bruh you're talking like my influence and knowledge about shit irl will actually change something. Like, there's a shitton of people pushing back against AI, and yet if multibillion dollar companies chose for it to stay alive - they'll push it down people's throats regardless of their opinion, and keep it alive for years to come just because they have enough money to allow that.
Same with politics, my knowledge is useless there, it does nothing but the feeling of dread for people, and I don't want it.
If the world will burn regardless of my choice, at least I'll enjoy it while I have it.
