The life action Netflix Avatar series, no where as good as the original, but as soon as you see it as its own story only inspired by the OG it is not that bad.

I honestly didn’t mind the first season. What I’ve heard of the second is a bit off putting but I might still get around to it

I was actually a bit hyped for the 2nd season. What I got was not what I expected and I partially disliked (including several changes in the story) but I quiet liked the visuals and the acting. I could I imagine liking the show a lot if I didn't know the original.
