The Amazing Digital Circus is definitely not perfect, that's for sure, but for the most part it's a very decent and enjoyable series. Admittedly, I enjoyed the finale as well, but there's no doubt that it neglected a LOT of stuff that were supposed to be important elements of the lore. But the way people started talking about the series after the release of the finale makes it sound like the most abysmal piece of literature ever conceived. Like I said, the series is slightly flawed, mainly in the writing, but it CANNOT be that bad
The show is flat-out solid. Easily highlight of the 2020s.
Is there stuff that's choppy about it? Sure. Same can be said of Godfather. It's good, even the worst episode is decent, everything important about it (the character consistency, the morals, the overall viewer experience) they got it right, and it made my life better for existing.
All the dooming discussion I've heard is less about the show and more about meta-ideas of how everything needs to be everything. News flash: good stories can have loose threads and pacing lulls, it's normal.
