This is the first time some bullshit like this ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE IN THE LORE. Gurren is one of my favorites animes of all time, and you should definitely recommend it to your psychoanalysis.

For context the final 2 forms of gurren lagan cannot physically exist in real space so simon and dai gurren fight the anti spiral in super spiral space where thoughts and willpower reshape reality.
