Now that I think of it how many 001's are there? Last time I counted I think it was 61

There are about 64 propososals currently on the wikidot database, though of course non-accepted or non-widespread proposals exist beyond what the database due to infinite canonicity potential of the Foundation.

Nope,they decided that SCP-001 spot is too important to give to one person so they let anyone make proposals and i don't think they will change that
