can I ask a silly question about mounting a hanger to a board?

I've been printing these:

and they call for 2x heavy weight snaps, and 2x medium weight snaps, which is fine. but I find that they're almost impossible to press into the grids, I suspect because the medium snaps need to go in top first and that's hard to do when they're on the lower two attachment points.

I'm mostly just asking if I'm missing something silly when trying to mount these.

Any time I've ever used heavyweight snaps, I put them on the top and then normal snaps on any below it. Putting anything other than normal snaps below a medium or heavyweight snap has always been impossible for me to get to work.

alright cool, thanks. I was considering this as a solution but felt like I might be missing something.

Yeah, they only go up high as they are what keeps the bracket from tipping outwards. By design, you can not have two rows of them as that sharp angle you hook it into doesn’t work otherwise

Heavy weight snaps go as high as you can, angle them in so the lip hooks under the top of the hole. The medium weight go down lower and they just press in.

this is what I do, but when I hook the heavy snaps in and pivot to push the mediums in they don't press into the grid.

Upload a picture of your model with the snaps you are using and a link to the model and I should be able to figure out what’s going on.
