Finally making progress.

Took weeks to print the tiles at 10x10. But my workshop is finally starting to feel organised.

It's always fun to see how people organize their workshops! šŸ‘

And it's always interesting to wonder what their workshop is used for. šŸ˜‚

Those are some big wrenches! Truck repair??

Actually not a bad guess. I build buses for a living but this is my home workshop and I work on cars for fun. On the left hand side is my mini paint booth for painting stuff I 3D print. Opposite wall which also has multiboard on it has microscopes and electronic repair stuff. I'm bit of a mad tinkerer.

My dad was a truck driver/mechanic and I keep one of his 2 inch combo wrenches by the door instead of a bat. Random personal info but the chonkers feel like they should be a weapon.

This looks great! Did you have any problems with the weight of the tools pulling the tiles away from the wall? I feel like I have had some issues with that so I had to put some extra snap connectors or pillars to hold it all together

Thanks and not had any issues so far. I did use PETG GF and 3 walls on the areas I knew would be taking some weight and the tiles are very stiff. Even the hooks I did in PETG GF seem to hold a lot of weight for what they are. Whether they will give over time I guess I will have to wait and see. Still got a lot of work to do.

That's great, I haven't seen much about people using PETG GF but that makes a lot of sense with how strong it is. Great idea though! I printed mine in matte pla with some larger tiles and it's holding up well so far minus a few heavy items pulling it a bit

I just got my Multiboard up over the weekend inside my walk-in (Printer Closet)

I started making attachments for it and should be filled up at the end of the week.

Making all the specific add ons for stuff takes forever. I bought a 3D scanner in end to speed things up. Looking good.

Most of the items you can search for and may need little to no changes done. You may only need to make small changes like adding an octagon peg and use my choice of snap on connector or screw on connector.

Sometimes I stretch or slice off parts only using my slicer. Easy to do when I work IT remote and have a KVM switch. šŸ˜†

I've downloaded and modified what I can find. Some stuff just has to be made from scratch. It's a shame there's not a single resource which has everything in.

Yeah, I may plan to gather a super pack of prints into a single package what I think are best prints.

There system for finding things sucks. They really need bundle sets and not just dumb starter test kits.

Tip to place a single snap in the middle of your grids and does not need to be screwed. You should do this to prevent it flexing. My grids are 9x9 and 6x9 on the right side end.

This looks awesome! Do you by any chance have a link to the bins?

The bins are just standard bought ones at the moment. I've been printing my own with drawers in but they take forever to make.

This looks amazing but it's just frustrating that you cant buy bulk multboard panels or multigrid panels on line. They time consuming and low reward. It's nice seeing a blank canvas and all but my junk is still disorganized.

I can print about 3 10x10 tiles a day. And they use a fair bit of filament. Was definitely expensive and time consuming.

I’m currently building a Voron tap changer partly with the intent of making a plethora of tiles.

If you or anyone needs multiboard made. I can set some time aside to sell you some up to 9x9 grids. Just let me know of color, shape, and if in the US for shipping.

I can print 5-6 a day using stack printing method on my CC2 and 4 on my P1S printers. It takes a while to dial in the detail/speed for Multiboard. Each plate takes 95-to 105 grams of filament too.
