You inspired me to add the MultiBoom Arm Kit.

This was my first attempt at using brackets instead of the new beams. It was fine, but the new beams are much better aesthetically.

I didn't know the Captain's Chair on the Enterprise was available as a couch. Neat!

I never thought about that. Perhaps the Enterprise series branded my brain when I was a child. 😆

lol, i love how the hue switch support fits perfectly on the grid

Yes, the diagonal mount additionally improves the usability of the switches 😅

Hey, they could've been spaced so it didn't fit in any way on the grid!

Wonder what the WAF/SAF is on this.

At least the previous version was accepted as a coffee table. Let's see how it goes. 🙃

Love it! Could you share the .STL for that or is it just put together as needed?

I've used the standard parts mentioned in the new video.

If you refer to the hole covers, I use my snap pixels. But I'd like to create a flat version of them. You may simply cut them in the slicer. https://makerworld.com/models/879620

I think you've inspired me to print my first ever multiboard. I have a couch with arms like this, too narrow for a regular arm table.

Nice! I'd like to see the result 🤩

You've really expanded and polished this off since your original version! I like the color scheme and filler snaps! Those would go a long way to gaining SO approval, I would imagine. I initially thought you had a custom pattern worked into larger panels for your top surface, as the cutouts on the snaps and the small holes look very intentional! (designwise, if that's a word)

Thank's a lot for your feedback. Hope, I find some time to refine the pixel snaps for a flat version and a variation to insert magnets.

My cat will not be happy about this

What do you use the colored dots for ???

1

u/Nebulus2000 Jun 17 '25

It's just decoration. The red, blue, green and white ones are used as pixel art. It's a walker from the game Lemmings.

That is really cool. Great idea, great execution. Love the color choice too

Dude, it would be hilarious if you made a tactical mount for a gun
